Kerr Woodworking Privacy Policy

Custom Projects/ Furniture Orders
We collect a 65% non-refundable deposit for all custom projects and furniture orders to secure the necessary time on our production schedule. Any changes made to a Custom Project or Furniture Order after client approval, such as but not limited to, design, materials, hardware, or finish choices, will qualify as a change order. We will notify clients with change order costs and once approved, that cost will be applied to the final invoice to be paid at RTO (Ready to Ship).
Larger projects will be structured as a 65% non-refundable deposit, a 25% fabrication complete invoice, and a 10% install complete final invoice. This payment structure will be communicated and agreed upon between Kerr Woodworking and Client prior to any project commitment. Any changes made to larger projects under this payment format will be applied to the next stage of payment, either fabrication complete or the final invoice.
All invoices must be paid promptly. Should an issue arise and the project is canceled the client forgoes the initial 65% deposit. We understand that there are extenuating circumstances and depending on the project’s phase of production, we will handle each project in a case by case scenario.
There are no refunds on Custom Projects or Furniture Orders. We recommend that any items arriving via freight should be immediately inspected for damage and notified to hello@kerrwoodworking.com.
Kerr Woodworking Goods
All products viewed online are sold subject to written and photographic description. We aim to make these as accurate as possible but please understand that all items are handmade, will not look exactly the same, and visuals may alter slightly based on screen settings. Descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice. We may also remove products from sale without notice. If there are any questions pertaining to the descriptions, dimensions, or materials for on-line items, please email hello@kerrwoodworking.com.
Occasionally the site may be offline due to technical error or for maintenance.
Refusal of Transaction
We reserve the right to refuse any order or refuse service to anyone, for any reason at any time. In using our site, you agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing and shipping information for all purchases made at our store and that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk.

Privacy Policy
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. None of this information is divulged to another party. Furthermore, you can contact us at any time and ask us to remove this information from our system.
We send one marketing email a month, and for this we use Squarespace. We will only add you to our mailing list if you sign up for it. You can unsubscribe from this list at any time.
Squarespace
Our site and store is hosted on Squarespace. This is an online platform allowing us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application.
Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including: Information about your browser, network and device. Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website. Web pages you view while on this website. Your IP address.
Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalized form.
Payment
Our on-line payment for product purchases is through Squarespace Payments. Our in-person payment for product purchases is through Square.
For Custom Projects, clients can pay invoices via Square with a 3% added service charge or via check or bank payment. Once the initial 65% deposit payment has been received, then we are able to commit and reserve the necessary time on our production schedule.
Security
Kerr Woodworking will never disclose your personal information to another party. We employ sensible precaution and practices to ensure it is not inappropriately used, accessed or disclosed.However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. In using our site you accept the inherent security risks of providing information over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security, unless this is due to our negligence.

Returns
Custom Projects
No refunds on custom projects. If on the off chance the item arrives damaged we will assess the damage and provide options for fixing any issues case by case.
Furniture Line Pieces
No refunds after a 2 business-day window to verify product details and shipping, unless the item arrives damaged. If damaged, we will do everything we can to either fix, replace, or refund the item. We highly recommend checking the item immediately upon arrival.
KERR Home Goods
No returns unless an item arrives damaged. If damaged, we will do everything we can to either replace or refund the item.
